Denny Breese is known for vibrant beachscape acrylic paintings that are on the fringe of Realism, nudge the aspects of Impressionism, and are teased with tones of the Fauvist movement from the beginning of the 20th century.

His favorite subjects to paint include coastal views and regional scenes from New South Wales in Australia. He's a beach lover who paints and a painter who regularly spends time on the sand and trails nearby—they feed each other. When he's discovering new coastal locations, he sees future paintings around every corner.
"Like many people, I've been constantly lured to the ocean. I love the salt in the air, the smell of the sea, the feel of the cool water rushing over my skin and the relaxing sound of the waves crashing on the shore. I love everything about it. Even the sand that gets everywhere! I also crave excitement and exhilaration from time to time. That is why I enjoy surfing so much."
